What If

Lately, I've been reading a lot of articles on wikipedia about DC/Marvel superheroes because it's, well, fun. And then I thought, "What would Midnite look like if she were a superhero?" I felt particularly inspired to draw this idea after seeing Wonder Woman's new costume.

Even though Midnite is a vampire, it would be pretty boring if I just said all her superpowers were vampiric... because then what would be the difference between being an individual with superpowers and a vampire? So I think that if she were a superhero, she might still retain a few vampiric traits (e.g., fast healing, superhuman speed/reflexes), but her main power would be to manipulate and control blood (hemokinesis? hemomancy?).

I guess I at least sort of tried to keep the proportions reasonable, but I wasn't trying too hard to attain 100% accurate human anatomy (like Wonder Woman or Emma Frost has "true" anatomy ). The main idea behind this was just to draw something conceptual.
